Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

I have this oven in stainless steel. The brushed stainless trim that you see above the oven doors is the front of a heat shield that glides out when the doors are opened to protect the plastic clock face and all of the knobs from the heat of the oven. In the closed position, the front trim of the heat shield is sufficient to protect the control panel from the the oven vent which is in the door top. The timer is electric and when the selected time has elapsed, the timer chimes and keeps chiming until it is turned off. The oven thermostat is a Wilcolator with a neat preheat feature. If the user turns the thermostat all the way to the BROIL setting and then back to the desired temperature setting, both the bake element and the open coil broil element are energized at full wattage. Shortly before the desired temperature is reached, the broil element shuts off, but there is a low wattage element around the perimeter of the broiler reflector which cycles with the bake element to give top heat for beautiful browning of baked goods. The oven has the plug-out Radiantube bake element positioned in a removable half inch deep tray at the bottom to make cleaning easier and so that a large boilover would not run out under the doors and down the cabinet or wall. The oven is as deep and as wide as the oven in a 40" Frigidaire range. A shelf holds two Bundt pans easily.
