FRIGIDAIRE Refrigerator water dripping on top shelf

I have a Frigidaire refrigidaire (4 years old). There is little water dripping on the top shelf from the cold air flow vent. Can someone help me to diagnose the problem?

MY parents refrigerator started doing this a month ago. I took off the floor of the freezer and found and ice build up. 20 minutes with a hair dryer and towel and the problem was solved (hopefully for another 4 years) Jeb

Same thing happened to mine. The drain line was frozen. Thawed with a hair dryer and never a problem since.

Often there's a small obstruction in the defrost drain line that's the cause for this. I found a single frozen pea in one and that was all it took.

Defrost Drain Line

Whether you have a side-by-side, top freezer or bottom freezer model, the drain line will be in the same place: at the bottom rear of the freezer section. Some models may require removing a panel to get to it. I think most modern types will have panels that just pop off. Older types may have panels secured with screws.
