After 213 loads of being put back into service, and many hours of restoration. Can anyone guess what it might be...........? Here is a pic of the last load washing while the machine failed. Got a pic of it, and hoped it would prove to be simple.

Steve, sorry that had to happen. Especially after all of the restoration effort you put into the machine...I would be FURIOUS. Is it repairable or will you just end up parting the machine out?

I feel your pain

Mine died too last month. Got a Maygat A282 Frabric-matic which I like from the Habitat ReStore for $25.00 Now I have to figure out what to do with the Rollermatic.

Well, he**, don't throw out those Frigidaires just yet. Unless you can go out in the forest and pull a couple more off the trees.

Im sorry! I hope you can figure it out?!

Isnt most everything repairable? I mean if you have a bunch of these old beauties, cant most things that go wrong be repaired, and dont you have to face this possibility often? Forgive my ignorance. Im hoping they can be repaired *as I think about my "new" old yellow tags compared to my gm frigidaires*.

Steve,

Please tell us what happened and what parts you need. I'm going to the warehouse today to try to dig out a set of rollers for Davy1063 and I can get what you need at the same time.

Rich

So sorry to learn of this Steve,

I know you have a lot of blood, sweat and tears in your Rollermatic.
I think at this point our Steve might only need a good strong drink for now......
But am sure he will get to repairing his Frigidaire at some point soon.

Reveal Time

The fill valve on the hot water side wont shut of completely.

WOW, so many here really care that my mahcine stays in business. It really is a quite simple fix I do belive.

Ping: Rich, if you have a fill valve for the 1969 RapidDry, I will buy it.

Thanks folks for being so concerned. Maybe I should have not played a joke with this, but it was better than getting upset.

Steve

Wow, you had me scared half to death for a second, LOL. At least fill valves are easy to replace and don't involve tearing the whole damn machine down again!

I'll check in the stash as I know there's a ton of fill valves there, and if you want one I'll go ahead and GIVE it to you. Email me.

Need to find a home for my Rollermatic

Mine is probably good for parts or at least a restoration project. I just am not able to do so. If you would like it, I'll keep it for someone who would like to pick it up. Just e-mail me.

Steve!!

Steve, it's yours if you want it. I wish that I could fix her up but I dont' have the room or tools. I just don't want it to be trashed. I'm coming to Atlanta march 30th for a concert. I think it will fit into my stationwagon but I'll check. I can bring it to ya then. I'll keep you posted.

Joe
