Frigidaire set 1976

Finished restoring the Frigidaire 1-18’s today. Dryer got new rollers. Felt seals new power cord. A huge thank you to Rich (Trainguy) for all the help today with the dryer. The washer got all cleaned out and touched up her undercarriage.
Now to find a new project.

Repair guy

We actually we’re able to pull a lot of the bent metal back out and used this silly puddy stuff that turns into super hard as steel by JB weld. It made a great seal and bonded really good.
The back part had so much lint stuck inside. I’m surprised it didn’t catch on fire over the years. It was fun learning about this and fixing her back up.
I’m so thankful for all the help and advise from everyone here. And Rich for spending the entire day at my house helping me with this project. [this post was last edited: 11/20/2020-23:02]
