Frigidaire Super mobile dishwasher

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Leave it to Steve to have the literature. Thanks, friend.

All things considered, especially compared with the upper rack in the GEs between 57 and 60, the upper racks in these machines were pretty poor.

So cool - thanks for posting the manual and product information Steve.

Phil, I am trying to figure out when I will have access to the car again to come see this one in person!!  Have you done a real load of dishes in it yet??

Of course I did! There's a small leak from the left side of the cover that doesn't sit tight on the gasket but otherwise, it's fine.

My "new" Frigidaire Crown Dishmobile has many things

...and I am clueless. Is it totally straightforward how to connect the water supply to the sink? It seems to have the same type of connection, but I don't want to hook it up until I know it's not going to explode.

I hope you see this, and that maybe you can help! I sure appreciate your time.

Hi Ken,

What's the exact model of your dishwasher?

You need a male adapter that replaces your faucet aerator so the female quick-connect fitting on your fill hose fits on it.

and an automatic water temp booster

What a great find, PhilR...really like the literature posted by Steve. Does your have the temp boost, too? Love the portables/mobile units.

Phil

Phil,

There is no temp booster on this model. The Deluxe model (which was a spray arm model rather than an impeller model) had it.

As you probably noticed, this is a two years old post... I got 5 other dishwashers since! This one is the first GM/Frigidaire dishwasher I had and it's also the very first GM/Frigidaire appliance I ever saw when I was a kid!

It belonged to people I know since I was a kid. I since became friend with them and I visit them quite often. One day, I asked them what had happened to their old Frigidaire dishwasher and they told me they still had it and it was stored inside a huge refrigerator in one of their farm buildings where they used to store eggs.  It still took a few months before I had the chance to see it and soon after, they gave it to me!

The dishwasher was in the same condition when I was a kid back in the eighties with wood grain vinyl covering already added by it's owners to protect the lid from scratches and I didn't remove it to keep it just like it was when I first saw it about 30 years ago!

that's pretty special Phil...

to actually own the exact same one owned by friends and that you saw so long ago... and probably was directly resopnsible for your catching the disease that we all share here! Love to see that sonmetime.
