Hi All!
The little kenmore fridge I had in my place was too small so a few years ago I did some computer work for someone and he couldn't pay me because they started a remodel but asked if I needed appliances.. I said I wouldn't mind a fridge if it were the right size so he traded me the work for a FRS26kF6EWG sxs fridge that was made in 09... I need to find a drawer some time cause the one I have is cracked, but other than that, for the most part it works fine...
I say for the most part because every once in a while, the ice maker doesn't make ice because the water stops flowing.. It happened generally in the winter so I thought the water line was freezing given the way the contractor ran the line... Well this last week, I've ran out of ice because it stopped again.. The icemaker is fine, its just not getting water. When I got it, I had the filters replaced with a bypass kit because I didn't wanna be buying filters all the time
Tonight I thought I'd check and sure enough when I drained the bypass tank, it ran very slow at first then bam it was running full power...
What is causing the water to randomly stop? I paid almost 70 bucks for that bypass, I don't wanna just throw it away.
Any thoughts? All the help I get on this forum is always appreciated!!!
