Frigidaire Three Ring Washer

Control Panel,

While found in a sealed box I am missing two control knobs, and crank handle, otherwise complete.

It has washing action just like the real thing!

toy washer

Such memories this brought back....I remember "drooling" over one of these as a child. Many years later (2005), I saw one in an antique store in Indiana and to this day, regret not bringing it home with me. Maybe I'll find another some day.

VERY NICE FIND!!!!!

Now THAT is a truly awesome washer toy! I remember when I was little searching and searching and searching for a toy washer that used water.... Then I turned 10... and mom and dad got me my first real washer!

It's adorable

Now that toy is truly special. What do you think became of the knobs? Especially if sealed box. perhaps shipped incomplete.? Is there an instruction manual?

Who got there first real washer at age 10.

I had to wait until I was 14. That was a 1969 Avacodo GE with sudsaver that had a sock caught in the pump. (easy fix)

An Imperial, no less!

I once heard these were available at some Frigidaire dealers. I remember seeing a Frigidaire range and refrigerator too, as a kid. Someone we knew had one of these little beauties - right in the laundry room across from the Real Thing!

I'll bet toward the holidays, this would bring more on E-bay than a lot of working washers ;=)

I saw that in the department store(Hechts)as a child.Wolverine had a huge display showing off the FRIGIDAIRE Imperials from 1962.My mom was not too thrilled about me seeing them and i cried as she pulled me away saying "No you can't have them.they're for little girls.Let's go look at the Tonka toys."In 1987,I found the washer and sink at an antique store for $20 and almost had a stroke when I saw them. The washer worked great!I was surprised at how much I could fit in it.

What a cool find

I got my first washer at 9 I bought a old Speed Queen Wringer washer for 10.00 I got the riding lawnmore and tied it up to it and took it home... I thought Mom was gonna have kittens, She told me i am ashamed to show my face in town.. I said "Well you shouldn't be thats why there is Revlon" I caught it for 2 weeks for that one.

Total heresy as noted by Frigidaire Frigilux, but absolutely gorgeous. So does it go up and down or back and forth or both? The colors of the agitator are so beautiful you want to eat them, n'est-ce pas?
