I would like to ask the resident experts their ideas on trouble shooting an autodry problem I have with a Frigemore dryer. This dryer is the match to my frontload washer. They both have the touch pad controls with the oval display. The dryer does not shut off when the clothes are appropriatly dry, rather it will run till it runs to long and the F5 error occurs. The manual said if this run too long error occurs, that the duct should be checked. I did this and the duct is clear. I did some online research and also asked a Sears Repairman that I ran into in a Starbucks, what might be causing the auto dry problem. He thought it might be the thermistor located on the blower duct. I changed the thermistor and that did not cure the problem. It is also annoying that this problem has occured shortly after the warranty has expired (naturally) and the fact that the dryer is at my vacation home and is used at most one or two times a month. Any help that you can lend is greatly appreciated. I dont want to be stuck using timed dry. Thats just not fun.
Thanks
