Hi, I have a '98 Frigidaire Gallery front loader. Have had it for a couple years, but only just recently tested it out. I think the final spin speed could be faster. In reviewing an archived thread here about it, I saw mention of a simple internal wiring change that can shift the machine to a higher top spin speed.

Typing this post in hopes someone here can describe thr procedure or provide a link to such a description.

Thanks!

Oh gosh, that was a long time ago.....One does have to verify that the machine is only spinning at 650 RPMs.

If I remember correctly, there was a red wire on the controller that you moved from D to C or vise-versa. It would raise the final 50 second spin to 850 RPMs. Let me dig a bit and see if I can find it. It was a couple of machines ago.

Do You Feel Lucky?

You can in all probability get a wiring diagram from the Electrolux FTP site which would remove some of the risk. What's the actual model number of the machine?
