More disturbing images

Mmmmmm. I could go for a bowl of that soup right now! Wonder if they made cream of...oh, never mind.

Here's a lovely little piggy. Not only is he fryin' up some pork rinds, he's eating them as well. And salivating. ICK.

What are these places thinking? Do they have no idea how disturbing it is to see a bull serving a steak? "Hey, have a slab of Uncle Chet--he's delicious!"

I think nowadays, at least here in England, you'd get sued for being "politically incorrect"!!!

I always laugh though in the hairdressers where sometimes by mistake they'll charge you for a cut'n'blow job :-).

Quote from Maytagbear: "That looks more like Uncle Stu"

Ouch!

Actually, I think it might be Uncle Chuck.

Double ouch!

Thank you. I'll be performing twice a night through the end of the month. Be sure to try the prime rib.

Finally! I thought I was the only person who ever noticed the implicit cannibalism in the food industries' uses of animal imagery!

Someone ought to call up Dobson at Focus on the Family and get him interested in this. After all, promoting cannibalism through the use of animal images, has got to be a bigger moral emergency than the question of whether Sponge Bob is gay. Or if not, then maybe Dobson's got a bigger problem than simply not taking his meds when he sits down to watch cartoons.

And while we're at it, "dog-eat-dog world." A linguistic euphemism for "person-eat-person world," i.e. the implicit cannibalism of the worldview of those who believe that "man's" cruelty to "man" is the normal order of things.
