Chad, maybe it's me, but I think that your crockpot is perhaps trying too hard. I think it has some issues. I'd keep an eye on it.

And speaking of gender weirdness: Today I was looking online for a cheap digital camera to use at work, and discovered that Fisher-Price has beginning cameras for kids, and they are divided by gender: Blue camera for boys, pink camera for girls. Same camera, mind you - just packaged differently. While I don't really have any issues with "traditional" toys for boys and girls, I think that is just bizare.

A few years ago there was a breakfast cereal for women, Harmony, made by General Mills. My BIL would not eat it. Once I had some, it tasted like Frosted Flakes, but no Tony the Tiger in that bowl!
