yep a GAS washer - hah! Perhaps hot water supplied by an GAS H/W heater is more like it. Also drum replacement might as well translate to failed bearing. Unless one is quite handy, has or can borrow several tools, plus patient in the disassembly & reassembly that is a pretty big job. To hire out basically costs almost the price of a new Frigmore sad to say. Just saw a new unit, same style and mechanical timer, online for less than $500

If this machine was working it would only be able to be used with a gas H/W...lol

Helped a friend do a drum replacement on his Frigmore, never again!
