Robert et.al., my companion and I have also lived like this, now going on 33 years. I'm guessing you and your S.O. are headed in the same direction.
If you are wondering which one in the video I am, I have to confess that being a Salesman, I'm sort of a carefree slob.
Starting as a cop my companion has had a lifelong career in law enforcement, and is more practical, neat, prompt, and tidy. According to Janene Garafalo, in every relationship, there is always the partner who is the one that says, "Does that go there?" That's my guy! )
I dunno...neither Tony nor I seem to wear the rubber gloves. Ok maybe I do, but he knows if he makes a mess on my kitchen counter he'll be cleaning it himself!
If you are interested in gay content in advertising, I strongly recommend you check out "Commercial Closet." It's an excellent site that rates the gay-friendliness of TV and print ads (or lack thereof). It also has a great history on the development of the GLBT community in modern advertising. Both informative and funny!
I can relate t the rubber glovs part, i do most of the cleaning and such here, and if you leave stuff on my counter it goes in the trash lol
Great Commucias
There is a new show starting on LOGO-TV on Tuesday call Rick and Steve. It's a gay themed animation using Fisher-Price "Weebles" styled character. It looks really funny I can't wait to see it. I found the trailer on YouTube.
Warning this link on YouTube contains very adult dialog.
