I have a funny story for you guys I think you'll find funny.
Remember the crazy neighbor with the Kenmore dryer from last year? She was the one with the totally clogged dryer? Well, here is something funny she told me today.
Her HVAC system is two years old. She said her bedroom isn't as warm as it should be it used to be warmer. So she called the HVAC repair place and made a service call appointment.
The A/C tech showed up and she told him the story and said "I think I know what the problem is... when the heat goes on that unit outside by the patio isn't making any noise. Shouldn't it be making a noise of some kind when it's heating the house?"
She doesn't have a heat pump system. She actually thought that the A/C compressor should come on all year round, even when the house is being heated. I asked her what the tech said. She said "He just rolled his eyes and checked everything out and found no problems but my air filters were totally clogged."
