My husband got a promotion and his new office is in Grayslake. We are not sure where we are moving yet but it will be in that area. Our house is not selling due to the "wonderful" real estate market right now. We even have it much lower than the appraisal as well as we are the lowest priced in the neighborhood (and the biggest house). I think the market will pick up a little in Aug/Sept so maybe we will get moved before the cold hits.

Market around me sucks now too, half my street is for sale, and nobody is buying!

Really????? Now I am getting exciting about moving.

I am trying not to look around that area too much until we sell our house and have to look up there. I don't want to fall in love with a house and then not be able to get it because we couldn't sell ours. I definatly do not want two mortgages!

Hubby will have to keep driving the 2 hour each way commute until it sells. No other way around it!

Thanks for the link Chuck, thats maybe a 45 minute drive up the tri-state tollway for me, but it looks like fun!
I have not been to a good flea market in a couple of years!
