G.E GSB9250 Talisman Royale trouble

hi everyone, i'm new here. I'm just a young guy from that likes 80's stuff.

I just got myself a Talisman Royale Dishwasher, it looks pretty much just like the infamous 2800 but I literally can't find any info on my GSB9250 model exactly.

here's my trouble: the first error i've encountered is a C2 error code on the display which is a blocked drain. I removed and cleaned everything I could remove. the thing was disgustingly filthy.

NOW! no more C2 error code but a C5 not enough water error code ...
I don't realy know what to do now, I'm quite handy but I really don't know much about dishwashers.

No enough water

Replace the inlet valve very common failure as dishwasher’s age, this will solve the problem 97% of the time.

Don’t waste your time taking it apart and trying to clean it, you may end up with leaks or flood.

I just changed for a new inlet valve and I still have the same 'not enough water' error code after just a few minutes...

The lady that had it before me said that she never had any problem with the dishwasher beside the occasional door latch code and I can believe her

Is the dishwasher getting enough water?

Open the door when you see the fault code and see how much water is in the machine. It should be covering at least the entire floor of the machine, try adding another half gallon or so of water and see if the code goes away.

Make sure the drain valve is not allowing water to leak down the drain as it’s running, you could also have a restriction in your hot water shut off valve or something in your home.
