Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

I now have two Kirbys I found in two curbside discards with the usual debris form Rita. One a Sanitronic Dual 80 & the other a Classic Omega. However I need to design & build a pair of guards that prevent the belts from being shredded by the fan since I was trying a motor-generator (MG) set experiment with both vacuums with the safety switches held down with some makeshift hardware for the switches.

Clarifications..........

The gentleman is question is a member of Lambda Car Club International, (LCCI), and he was at the Grand Invitational in Ft. Lauderdale two weeks ago. He is from Atlanta, works for Porsche and always has a prototype auto--see photo. I know this as he has been a guest in our home several or more times.

The convertible was correctly identified earlier as a 1976 Pontiac Grand Ville. The Grand Villes were wonderful cars and came in hardtop versions as well. They were high end and heavily optioned.

However, the correct lineup in the earlier pic is this: 1976 Pontiac Grand Ville, 1970 Buick Skylark convertible, 1972 Oldsmobile 98 Luxury Sedan, 1979 Cadillac Phaeton Coupe' and a 1973 Cadillac Fleetwood 75.

Hey Charlie, sorry I missed you guys in Florida this year. Looks like it turned out OK in spite of the bad weather! Why dont you join us at Barrett Jackson is Scottsdale in January? We could sell raffle tickets to raise money for our trip.......... Yours truly, Mrs. Wahlburg

Wow some great looking cars..

It has always been a dream of mine to own a vintage car. Buick has been favorite right along with a Cadilac...someday...

Let's go to Europe!

Mrs. Wahlburg,

"Now Ethel repeat it with me, We will find the money to go to Europe!"

Barrett-Jackson may be a possibility. Who will donate the TV set for the raffle? I can probably get the tickets........Whoops there goes my doorbell. Now who do you suppose is here? All the way from Indiana?

Check out this beauty:

I'd like 1976 Buick please, Electra 225 Limited

Those are beautiful cars Charlie, and someday I will have another Buick like the one I had.

The Porsche guy is... well...hmmmm... HOT! I agree with Fred, I'd do him, as a favor of course.

Hey Charlie, Speaking of Packards, did you know thats what Vivian Vance always drove during her I Love Lucy era? She probably had Fred locked in the truck, along with Mrs Grundy and that hatchet for the Everglades...........

76 Electras

Todd's white 225 Limited Coupe' won for best 1970's car. There was a black 1976 Electra Custom Coupe' with the more deluxe roof and slightly different interior with more chrome and chatchski's.

Miss Elizabeth

Here is my 1965 Olds 98 Town Sedan next to a stunning 1962 Fleetwood Sixty Special.

Maybe next year.............Can you believe I was beaten by a 1961 Nash Metropolitan!

Charlie is that Todd? Damn baby he's almost as hot as you! ;-)

I do see the Fred resemblance as well...

Open Neptune...

So, I tried running my mom's Neptune with the door open tonight, and it didn't work. The safety switch is different than the one on Fred's--there's only a switch that turns the light off and a slot that the piece of the door fits into when you shut it.

It filled with water and then nothing would happen--it beeped at me, and "do" showed up on the LCD screen, presumably telling me the door was open. It tried to lock, and wouldn't run without the door shut.

Oh well. I didn't want to mess anything up--so I shut the door and let it be. They are different models than Fred's as well.
