After 15 years my Sunbeam 2 burner gas grill is going to cost me more to repair than to replace. I don't have a problem repairing it, but it looks so nasty, the wheels are falling apart, I mean just crumbling falling apart. The burner(s) need replacing AGAIN. The grids are but dust so I decided to buy new.
Here is where I need you'se guyes help. I really want a Weber, but checkbook says can't afford a Weber. I know I saw a discussion about a year or so ago about cheap Chineese grills so I want to avoid them.
In looking the Blue Ember and Chargrills look very "cheap" The Brinkman grills look solid, would just like more info on them. What about the infrared sear burners? Are they worth the addition? Do they last? Are they an expensive repair next year?
I saw a grill at Sears that was alot like the Brinkman, in fact I think it is a Brinkman, it was on sale for $349 with four burners, a infrared sear burner and a side burner.
