I am curious what is gas running around the globe? I drove from here to Raleigh and back today and paid $1.95 for gas.. Saw prices ranging from $2.29 (here) to $1.94.
So what is every one else paying?
On a side note:
I noted my new corolla gets 42 mpgs on the highway, 36 in the city. my exploder gets 21 on the highway and 18 in the city. The exploder has a 26 gallon tank, the corolla has a 13 gallon tank. Wow.. I am shocked that i thought the exploder got great gas mileage...

Matty, does Australia go by the gallon, or liters?

It's hovering generally right around $2.50 per gallon here in Los Angeles. I find it to be a bit less when I go to the OC to get my hair done, and a bit more for whatever reason right by work (South Bay area for you locals).

Yes... the price at my local "cheapo" station is $2.37 a gallon, but within a few miles it's as high as $2.59.... quite a variance.

Four months ago we were in Munich Germany and with our rented cars (Audi and a VW, both diesels) drove through the Austrian Alps into, and around Italy. During our two week trip we paid between 1.05 euro to 1.16 euro per liter ($5.16 - $5.70 (US) per gallon) for diesel!!!! OUCH!!!

OMG.. Yewwwoch... I couldn't handle that.. I am too addicated to my freedom.. No wonder we americans are very spoiled

Ok I have no clue how I got that in there a second time at two separate times.

Revvinkevin's findings illustrate how prices fluctuate across LA. $2.59/2.65 is what it runs near my workplace, and I can get it for $2.49 near home. I'll try to remember to look in the OC tomorrow, but I bet it will be five or ten cents less.

There's one station I know of near Venice Beach that's usually least of all, but it's out of my way unless I'm going to the beach, which I rarely drive to the beach anyway, and it's on a small corner lot at the tip of a fork between two streets and can be hard to get in and out of when busy.

$1.88 here in Port Arthur. When I was in Germany in the early 90's it was about $6-$7 per gallon. Wonder what it is now?

According to news reports a few months ago gas was $0.10 in Venezuela (price set by the state), and $0.49 in Kuwait.

I paid $1.89 on Wed to fill up at the SuperAmerica on 46th & Nicollet, the lowest I remember in a long time. Unfortunately Oil had bottomed last week in the commodity market, it actually dipped below $51 but by Friday its over $55 and its heading up fast so we can kiss these low prices goodbye with in a week or so.
