My goodness - what a beautiful range!
In fantastic condition, too. Definitely makes me wish that I had room for a 40" GE range - even in Avocado. And at that price, yikes!

It may just be the monitor I'm using, but it appears that this is the unshaded "Fresh Avocado" color that started with the '77 models. So this may be newer than they think, maybe even early 80's.

I am truly more a fan of gas ranges than electric, and long-have been, especially when it comes to cooking with them, but electrics from back then sure are truly more attractive and laiden with a lot more features, not to mention they were well-built enough to last the decades and mostly work well to this day...
So of course, that one is no exception... Especially to have the best working self-cleaning oven system, as opposed to being sold on continuous clean, or doing without...
