GE and Coldspot fridge help

Greetings friends, I hope you are all well.

I have some questions that I'm sure you can answer. 2 weeks ago I picked up a 1986 GE TFX24HEB refrigerator with the electronic monitor. Thank God everything works correctly but I need to know if GE included any mini manual in those years and where it was stored. The GE rotary compressor had already been replaced, I assume under warranty with an Americold SE108 dated 1987. It was burned out and I replaced it with a Matsushita DA86 and R134a.

My other question (and one that perhaps Combo52 can clarify) is regarding my 1953 Coldspot model 106.H11B-D. The Seeger rotary compressor was changed in 1990 due to a bad technician and since then I had had a conventional Tecumseh that never performed as well as the original. I need to know how many BTU/h compressor I should install with R134a so that it can have the same performance as when it was bought new at the Sears store here in Maracaibo.

I also need the mini manual for my 1980 GE Spotscrubber GSD1200S.

Hi Tom!

Sure! Here in the metropolitan area of ​​Maracaibo you can see it most of the time towards the southern area of ​​the city. I also once (2010) went to the area of ​​the swamps where lightning is generated. It's something really impressive. My skin stayed prickly all the time and there was a very particular smell in the air.

Older refrigerator help

The 86 GE should have a mini manual in a little gray envelope under the front of the refrigerator behind the grill, it certainly possible it’s gotten lost over the years, especially with all the repairs the machine had.

The old cold spot probably had around a 600 BTU compressor. What size compressor was put in in 1990.

Yes, in fact there is nothing behind the grill anymore. Just yesterday I managed to obtain the GE Refrigerator Service Handbook from 1975 to 1986, which seems to have very complete information. Is there anything in the Mini Manual that is not in that Handbook?

Regarding the Coldspot, the 1990 compressor was a L'Unite Hermetique by Tecumseh. The identification plate could hardly be read but I think it It was an AZ1328.
