GE Commercial Washer and Dryer Set - $450 (Anaheim, CA)

...not sure if these are avoided for any reason, but ..never saw a pair like this ; if they're commercial as their labels indicate, are these sold through other channels to businesses?

Commercial models

GE dealers usually can order these in, but rarely stock them. However, the local GE dealer back in the 70's did at times have the commercial models (non coin-op) on display.

Either way..... this is the CRAP - GE model with the plastic tub!  

(unless for some reason they didn't use the plastic tub in their **cough** commercial models.

I thought they were children's toys made out of plastic when I first glanced at it - then ..thought...maybe this is one of those loooooong lost gems.

I wouldn't take the washer if someone offered it for free.

However, the dryer is halfway decent, ane except for the control panel is essentially the same as earlier ones.
