GE Convection oven repair

I think this is the right forum----I helped a friend with repairs to a new-to-him home. The GE 90's double oven (convection on top) needed a new keypad, which is only sold installed with the stainless top cover, around $250. We replaced the keypad+stainless cover. Everything works now, and we are left with a bad keypad inside the original wonderful stainless front. Does this have any value to anyone, or do I tell him it's garbage?

Don't Throw It In The Trash

If you can't find another good use for it [ most likely not ] recycle it with old appliances, SS is very valuable it should never be discarded.
