I actually have the deep well golden fryer and I have a hotpoint stove with the fryer socket but it doesn't plug in!!

I want to either trade my deep well fryer for the hotpoint version or find the stove that my attachment fits onto.

My attachment looks like the picture. I have the basket and everything.

I've been so excited to use this. I know I'll find either the stove or the right fryer at some point.

The fryer attachment I have is for a General Electric range. It says General Electric Automatic (in cursive) Deep Well Fryer. On the back it has three flat blade-type terminals with the center one smaller. It has the control on the right side.

I'm confused. It sounds like you need a different Hotpoint French fryer or a different range, but not my General Electric Automatic Deep Well Fryer. Sorry to disappoint.

John stripped a couple of Hotpoint ranges that we were given. Maybe they would have the right outlet.

Highpoint range deep fryer attachment

If you can post a picture of the receptacle, your range has I think I have the right hot point unit and I no longer have a range for it. We can see if it might work

Also post a picture of the GE one you have or the one that doesn’t work,

John

I will try to look when I get back home in a week or so to see what the condition the Hotpoint golden fryer I have is in. I may have two of them, not sure.

I would probably be willing to trade the Hotpoint for the GE unit also got to check with a friend of mine who collects stoves and see what he has,

Wow John I really appreciate it. I think my GE unit is unused. I still have the box! I know these units are pretty rare. I bought it from someone who sources period props for hollywood. He did not have the right stove either.
