Wow I really like that. I think it would be very practical because often as not you're never filling a large oven to capacity but chances are more likely that you do want to cook two items at different temps. At least in our house that happens
The house we rented in the UK had an upright stove with a double oven in it....effectively, they make the griller/broiler an oven and slightly larger whilst reducing the size of the main oven...
In our case, it worked a treat....and it will help stop juggling between shelves too as even fan forced tend to have their hot spots....
Maytag does or did still make the Gemini free standing stove with the two ovens but what I didn't care for was the lower oven was literally down at floor level making it a real stoop to use.
Allen, if you need space, each oven is kinda limited since you're basically shoving two ovens into the cavity space of a single 30" wall oven. personally, I think you should get a vintage 40" range even after the kitchen remodcel. Even with Greg's modern looking kitchwen, I think it looks great.
Bob, I was not shopping for this. We were in Best Buy looking for a flat screen and of course I had to pass by the appliances. Our new house has a 40 inch one of these stainless wrapped models with the gas cooktop. I do know the brand. But it will have a short residencty there as I do plan a total kitchen remodel.
Last week I was in Lowes perusing the new Electrolux display stove. Very sleek and wonderful oven with roll out racks etc. BUT the digital display was already wonky missing a few segments of the digits for the time/temp.. so and 8 looked like a 5 etc.
That's what kinda bugs me about too much electronics.
