GE DWD8600 UCL AV combo washer/dryer door question

Hi,

Wondering if anyone knows whether the DWD8600 combo washer/dryer made from 1970ish has a doo that latches when shut? Similar to old fashion refrigerators.

If anyone has a Users manual describing it or an actual machine, would love to hear from you.

Yes your avocado green GE combo has a positive door latch on it that can not be opened from the inside, it is best not to climb inside the machine if someone might close the door behind you, LOL.
