Gardening gloves
Why yes, I have many pairs of gardening gloves. They are all buff colored leather, however, and many have holes in them now from pruning the roses etc. I have learned the hard way that gardening (especially digging in the dirt) can be very hard on the hands, without gloves.
The washer was in the garden largely because I had moved it from the main house to the workshop for storage, but brought it back out to hook it up to a garden hose in the courtyard for demonstrating its wash action. At the time the workshop wasn't set up for inlet water and drain water for washing machines. Now it is, sort of, cold water only and a drain tub that might not hold a full drain from a big top loader. But it works fine for the Mieles back there, which are capable of heating their own water and don't drain more than 10 gallons or so at a time. In the courtyard I simply drained the wash water into a plant border.
I admit the photo of the washer up against the shrubbery is pretty nice... lol...
