Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Oooh! Oooh!

I think that luscious GE is a '65. If - as I believe it is - it's the TOL 30-incher, it was originally equipped with all the goodies, including griddle, Sensi-Temp and rotisserie.

The ad says "Will deliver anywhere." Well, okay, but I warn them - Waterloo, Iowa is quite a trip. :)

P.S.: Blowing up the photo makes it look as if the meat thermometer setup might be present on the control panel. Perhaps John combo52 would care to chime in here....

Ben:

What's interesting about the TOL 30-incher of that vintage is that it's a narrower version of the 40-inch range. It's built on the same frame as the 30-inch '57 Spacemaker you had. But within a few years, GE switched the TOL 30-incher over to the Americana frame, basically cutting the upper oven off. Other 30-inchers, like the one I have, continued to use the 1957 frame.

Very strange! I guess they had their reasons, though.
