nice little washer
This was the first washing machine I ever purchased, in 1979. It was in the "almond" color. It worked very well.
I usually ran the clothes through at least one additional rinse, as the machine went from wash, to neutral drain, then immediately to rinse fill, with no intermediate spin between the wash and rinse.
Therefore, the soapy water that saturated the clothes remained in them and you had a final rinse with water that was quite sudsy. It had several momentary spray rinses during final spin which helped.
It was a well-built machine. I just rolled it to the kitchen sink of my little apartment and could get a basket of laundry washed in no time, even with the additional rinsing.
I kept it for years. Even after progressing to a full sized laundry pair, the little washer was very useful for washing small loads of greasy garage rags, car washing towels, etc., or just to spin out wet items quickly.
