GE Mobile Maid Model SP40P Leaks

I acquired a mint-condition GE Mobile Maid SP40P. Everything on it works like a charm, but when the impeller motor reverses to pump out the water, there is a serious leak somewhere in the pump assembly, but I do not see any gasket or clamp that is not loose.

Anyone know how I might try and fix this leak?

hmmmmm

Is it possible that the drain hose is leaking and running down to the pump? If the pump was leaking then you would see it during the washing part of the cycle as well. The hoses on the Unicouple tended to dry out and crack and I'm assuming this is a '59 or '60 MobileMaid. I'd run it with the front cover off to check.

would love to see what it looks like, i have a pretty good collection of mobile maids, just curious which one yours is. think i'll google that model no. now actually.
