Considering how complete and clean it is, that's a fair price.  Anybody who has been on the fence about owning a MT, this is your time to act!

I've never seen that particular control configuration before.  I would say it's a later model, but Travis can confirm.

The compressor unit isn't original to the cabinet. The compressor unit is 1933. Its a one year only design sometimes referred to as the "soup can" condenser. The cabinet is an earlier porcelain style. I see it has the infamous "knee knocker" foot pedal. [this post was last edited: 11/25/2016-20:44]

Thanks for the correction and for educating me. Didn't know they were still making porcelain cabinets in 1933. Thought that ended much earlier. When was the last porcelain cabinet made? [this post was last edited: 11/26/2016-19:14]

Ken,

I don't believe they ever stopped until the 1960's.  They made painted and porcelain cabinets for each model generally.  It was a price issue.

I never knew the later monitors were available with porcelain cabinets. I always thought they stopped around the time the enclosed condenser was introduced.
