GE Monogram Dishwasher question

Hello,

I have a 4 year old Monogram Dishwasher that is not getting the top rack clean. I have cleaned the bottom filter near the chopper, removed and rinsed the wash arms and checked for obstructions. I read online to try adding a couple of quarts more water to see if it is a fill valve problem and that didn't make any difference. The middle wash arm is moving very slowly and doesn't seem to be spraying with much pressure. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

As you didn't tell us which model it is (please tell us if possible), I can only guess into the blue.
First, I would ask how you know the spray arm is turning slow and what "slow" exactly means. They usually turn slower than the bottom arm and speeds varry from 5 up to 40 revolitions per minute.
If additional water dosen't help, and the bottom rack cleans fine, it could either be the spray holes or the feed pipe for the arm itself being blocked. It could as well be a bad water diverter if you model has one, but thats hard to tell.
A blocked spray arm is easy to fix. Just take of the spray arm (should be explained in the manual) and clean it in your sink. Check if all holes are free, clean and let water pass through.
A blocked feed pipe is harder to tell. The easiest way is to run an empty load with the upper rack removed. If you hear a loud noise of water hitting the front door (like aiming a garden hose on a plastic bucket), the pipe and the (may or may not existing) flow diverter should be fine as well. If not, you'd have to take the feed pipe out and check it and that's a bit more of work.
So, first check the specific spray arm for blockages, and if that not helps, we'll guide you on.
