GE Profile Dishwasher PDW8200 SERIES service manual

I was wondering if anyone might have a copy of the service manual for the model shown above. While disassembling and cleaning the machine which was severly clogged with dirt and old food debris, my brother in law broke the vertical tube that seems to extend above the sump. He said it was very brittle and kind of dissolved apart.
It looks like it drains the soil collector and I just want to be sure of its function. And if we can leave it like that without really affecting the washing ability of the machine
Any advice will be appreciated.

That rubber tube that disintegrated is part of the main boot assembly. Without it, the machine washability will suffer. Any soils collected in the fine filter will exit through the defective tube and back into the water.
Without pictures I surmise you will need a whole new sump boot for the Triton XL series.
It’s not expensive but it involves full disassembly.

Henrik, for the link to the manual. And yes, John, I figured that the tube carried off the soil from the machine. Am I correct that it is from the soil collector under the washarm?
I am attaching a photo of what broke and compared to the results the machine was giving prior to the cleanup, even if some soil was not carried to the sump, the results should be much better.
My Uncle never scraped a dish prior to putting into the machine in over 10 years. What a disgusting state of affairs.
I will probably pick up a new sump and when OI visit Arizona, I will yank out the machine and change it.

Yep, an all new sump boot with integrated filter drain tube should perk ya right up.
These are GOOD machines. Sadly they got hit hard for several years when detergent makers were struggling to reformulate after the phosphate ban.
They should be ok now with high quality Cascade or Finish tabs.
Once you got that new boot, you'll be back in business!
