boy I am desperate straights as our GE refrigerator model TFX27FLB is limping along again
see if I can explain it as I am not good as explanations
It refuses to get cold enough
It does not run long enough to get cold enough
one or both fans are growling so I may have to replace them
Fan in the freezer is blasting the air in the freezer so that may not be it but that growling noise is concerning me
The electronic diagnostic and monitor system flashes CC or FF or DE
The temp in both compartments rises to where the warm temperature light comes on later the warning beeps beep then 20 30 minutes later it will kick on but the freezer only goes to 20 degrees before it kicks out then the whole process starts again
When it cycles off the temp rises fast in the freezer like the defrost heater is staying on all the time it goes to 60 degrees
I probably will need to be told how to get to the fan inside the freezer I think that is the evaporator fan inside the freezer compartment
I think the condenser fan is down below where the coils are
I hope I remember everything I can post again I am desperate to fix this
As this is a vintage frig I want to fix it first but may have to get a refurb if needed
I hope it is a simple fix I am worried the diagnostic center is malfunctioning that cannot be replaced
