Looks like pretty much the same electronics and changer that was in the GE Danish Modern stereo in a different thread here a few weeks ago.
Who made the changers for GE?

That's the one that could be wall-mounted. The cleaner lines of the contemporary design when the doors/speakers were closed look a lot better than the hokey stuff on this "Early American" style. The design was a real eye catcher and so 1960s. I wonder if the units had a strong enough amp to power a pair of real speakers. I guess most people were not thinking of that back then anyway.

i think a ge changers is made by glaser steers, but i'm not too sure.
