Well...An update guys...
I cleaned it up and had Donald bring it in, And looks like my past bad luck with GE stoves is holding, I guess I have finally figured out that , Like Maytag washers, no matter how many times I try, they are just always going to be jinxed!!! LOL, Here are the issues, The light flickers and then goes out, probably an easy fix, The clock runs but the set knob is stripped so you cant set the damn thing, but the biggie is, I tried to get it to self clean,,,,When it kicked on,,it heated about 30 seconds and then a wisp of white smoke emerged from under the fluorescent light shield and click, off it went, the oven will work, but I guess something is fried in the P7 mechanism,,,So, As I have NEVER been able to get a self cleaner to work, "Or a sensi temp for that matter". Its going away tomorrow and my vomicado green 73 Frigidaire is coming in, its bulletproof, and its much better built than the GE,..And of course the 59 Westinghouse is just around the corner in the laundry room,,,This is the 4th or 5th GE I have had and every single one had crazy issues, I have owned 5 Maytag washers including a brand new 84 model,,,All which were more trouble than a ingrown toenail,,,From now on im sticking to what I know I can depend on.
