Darn it!

Why is all the good stuff so far away! (Per my lease, I can't have something like this in my apartment, but it would be perfect for my parents! My mom would give her eye teeth to go back to using a wringer washer and this would be the next best thing.) (She wouldn't use the dryer and would complain about it taking up space.)

Contact the seller and ask if he will crate and ship via UPS or even UPS freight, both pick up right from your door. Crated and boxed both items are well within UPS weight/dimension guidelines.

My Hoover TT came crated from a seller in the Mid-West via UPS and only damage was to one of the wheels that had poked through the bottom. A simply "This End UP" lable would have probably helped, but otherwise seller did a fantastic job packing.

One can purchase ready made crates from places like Uline, than only require putting together. In a pinch bet extra strong shipping boxes (doubled and or with wood as a base)would work as well.

Seller seems to indicate he is willing to ship as the items are on pallets already. Bet if you asked nicely and made it worth his wild, he may do the packing and ship UPS.

I am actually thinking about seriously getting these if the

I had a green porta washer as I was told that it was called. i used it for my three years at BYU before investing in a new set. The washer in lovely Avacado was great! i payed 25 dollars for it. I am sure that it saved me that at the laundry mat easy in a couple of months. I figure that I could store these until I move to my new house, where I would like to start my collection. Twin tubs are fun. I was even shown a trick someone showed me with a jar of peanut butter. Put the jar in the spinner, with the jar closed, place it in the middle, and spin for a minute or two. the peanut butter was perfectly in the middle of the jar, worked like a charm! Old misionary trick. When I was done with my machine, I just put it under a sheet in the kitchen. It doubled as a buffett, i was in college remember?
