Gillette MACH3 Blades

The straight razors sold to day used by barbers contain disposable blades.Don't see barbers using "safety" type razors.Safety razors sold and used for home use-not by barbers.With the disposable blade straight razors-the reason you don't see the leather strops hanging from barber chairs.

Razor updat since I tried Stylcrafter shavers-these cut better than the Norelco.The SC tools are sold thru barber suppliers.The SC shaver has a magnetic motor of their design.It chaanges speed as you load it more or unload it.Very pleased with this SC electric razor.

Used an electric razor for years, honestly don't recall switching but been using a Gillette power proglide for well over a decade.  Tried using other razors but something about the vibration gives me a better shave.  I only shave 2 or 3 times a week, more if I'm going somewhere other than the grocery store so blades last a  long time.

 

The one thing that upsets me is that when i was younger I could not grow a decent beard.  Now I can but it's white while my hair is still mostly dark blonde, and my beard wont take color.

Well, maybe if I can apply the skillful use a straight blade razor requires, I can whack my daily hair off my face, every-other day...

Nice try, to have both razors loaded with hair, struggling to get another shaving set to last through shaves...

Maybe this wouldn't be a time to become bearded and see how long and hopefully maintenance-free facial hair on me could be...
