Just got one of those Wilton huge cupcake cake pans right before Xmas. It was my husband's 40th b -day the other day so I tried it out.

Hard to get used to but I followed some of the recommendations on Amazon about filling the bottom side first and letting it bake awhile before adding the top batter.

The new icing in a spray can worked out well. I had made another one a few days before just to try it out and hand frosted it with chocolate icing. It looked like a big pile of you know what!

This is a spice cake with cream cheese frosting.

The only real issue with this cake is storage. Not many Tupperware containers are made for something this big. I just made everyone eat a lot and put the cake on it's side and covered it with Saran Wrap. Worked out OK.

Aunt Barbara may know I love her I wish that she was my manager but I will tell you what I think is the best thing that they sell for this is the Thatsa mega bowl turn it upside down and put the cake on the lid and then cover it with the bowl keep the tab out to the side and when you want to get to the cake put your finger on the tab and lift with the handle instant cake cover. The cake looks great.Carl

Thanks Bob

I will get better with the decorating the more I make it. My daughter can't wait until April for her birthday cupcake!

I need to buy some decorating tips for icing bags and see how that turns out.

Spice cake & cream cheese icing is our favorite cake. :)
