Well, girls, I see Charmane is back with the Glamorene again! It's been awhile since we've talked so I'm not up to date on what is happening here. How is Charmane since her release from the institution and did she ever get the house repaired after that disasterous meal where the ham blew up? Is her ex still with Bruce? And how is Betty Jane making out these days?

Oh, I did hear that "Miss Penny Candy" has recuperated and returned to the stage with a new act. Offering "personal appearances" also.

Is Eunice still at the bank? And how is Frank doing since the loss of the hardware store? And, any new news about Ralph?

I really need to get to Adalaides and Myrtles to get my hair and nails done and discusss things.

Oh, LaVerne made another batch of her special brownies this past weekend and promised a batch for Sherman and I when we visit next weekend. I'll save some for you.

Silly me! I meant to post to vacuumland and posted to aw by mistake. Well, Sherman has always said that all that henna would get to me some day!
 
LaVerne isn't the only one who has the "special brownies" I have access to them as well as choclate chip "Special cookies" here in "The Valley"where they are baked,packed and shipped!!! We all got together with a gross of the cookies and had a few before going to see "Hush,Hush Sweet Charlotte" with Betty Davis Olivia DeHaveland and Agnes Moorehead.After it began but before the head and arm chopping,the cookies werereally taking us where some had never been before.Those of us who had were fine. The actual ear piercing screams came from the "beginers"who not only never saw "HHSC"but never ate the cookies before.Those of us who were experienced helped them to calm down and laughed our asses off.The cookies were a major hit(no punn intended)and sold like hotcakes@$16/doz.I only wish they could be next to "Chips Ahoy" and "Orioes"in the supermarket!!!
 
"Special Brownies"

Frigilux you are in luck. LaVerne is coming over this weekend with our sister, Patty, and promised to bring a big batch. I'll have to save one or two for you as us girls get into them and have such a good time visiting. LaVerne is going to bring some seedlings with her of the herb she uses in her brownies so I can have a steady supply. Must be a very fragile herb tho as LaVerne tells me to only grow them in the attic! However, you'll have to come over to vacuumland.org and visit Churning Falls to get some. If you do come over, remind me and I'll tell you about Betty Jane becoming Billy.
