I have two GM Frigidaire 1-18’s I’m considering parting with. One is a 76’ model and spotless. The other is ‘75 model also very clean but some pitting on the dashboard. The ‘75 works fine but last time I ran it it leaked some on the spin so the shroud might need to be sealed a little better. The ‘76 I did some work on and has leaked ever since. I do have a transmission that I may swap out on the ‘76 washer and reseal it. Worst case is I part with one of them and revitalize the ‘76 machine ir maybe just get rid of both. I’ve got too many machines now. I’m located in the Portland, Oregon area.

Hello Jon ~

Saw you in the photo of the 2007 Tuscon Wash-in. Had no idea you were around way back then, too young I thought. Fun Surprise !

A few years ago, nephew James brought me a 1-18 that leaked like the proverbial sieve. No matter. The spray rinse, my favorite 1-18 thing, worked perfectly because the pump is so ferocious that there was no leaking at all while the rinse progressed. And the timer was stuck, so I would rinse giant comforters and such to my heart's content. In the end, the timer froze and the machine became toast.

Since then, I've had my eye out for another. You are so far away, and my reliable, dependable shipper no longer ships. Realizing that you are in the consideration process, I wanted you to know that I am too. Let me know what you decide, and maybe we can arrange something.
