GM FRIGIDAIRE IN TORONTO ONTARIO ONLY $20

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Wow Even me a Brit would have those pair

Have always admired GM washing machines especially the jet action washers, recall seeing some in a launderette back in the 60's and I found them fascination, Now if the cost was not so prohibitive I would purchase them and get them restored and shipped..... Sadly I have not won the lottery yet so will have to dream on.

As always... timing is bad...

I simply can't do this and it's killing me... The 58 Cadillac is now occupying a very large part of my on-site storage and I am also helping my father transition from independant living to an intermediate-care facility that is better equipped to help him with his dementia.   I just can't make this happen, alas....

Hold

Maybe the seller could hold them for you paul, it looks like in their listing that they want them to go to someone who will actually use them

I wish I could

I’d love to save them it’s just that I have no way of bringing them home . Or else I’d be keeping them . Did you try asking the seller if they are willing to hold them ?

LAST CALL

Guys-i have been working to try and save these but with the border closed between the US and Canada its an uphill battle. The seller now has these listed for FREE and says they will go to the crusher this weekend if no one takes them. Wish there was more I could do. Not sure if anyone else is able to do a last minute hail mary to save these.

This pains me greatly... Both myself and PhilR (a fellow Canadian Frigidaire collector) are both unable to act on this due to family situations.... Believe me, I would if I could.  I know how frustrating this border closure has been on us collectors - the bulk of my collection are appliances that I have found in the Northeast or have had shipped to a freight depot in Vermont.
