Help Support :

Whew...

it's chilly out in the garage! - been putting it off, junk's already accumulated on it, and in a place where I can't get a picture, but here's the data:

1960 Deeluxe washer Model WD-60 Serial No. 23E 79368 in PANK!

RogerA.

Joe,

I also searched it a lot on my 1957 Filtrator but Ben told me! (and I should have looked at my manuals like he did because I already had the info in them!).

So I did look at my manuals for yours and it's at the same place as in my 1957.

I got the illustration showing it on the vented model but it should be at the same place on yours (see the serial number plate at the top of the illustration in figure 7).

Thomas, I didn't see an illustration of a pre-1955 model but the serial number should be on the back panel, probably at the left of the opening where you can see the motor/mechanism.

Here is a start Ben, on some machines I wasn't able to reach down with the camera without having to move the machine, so I will photograph those as I move them.

Ben, if you have the chance, I'd like to see which was the oldest 1-18 washer tag (or any post-1970 Frigidaire appliance tag) you had that had a CSA approval. Members who have sent their serial numbers directly to Ben but no picture can look at their tag. The picture that Mike sent in the post above doesn't show one but newer ones do.

As an example, here's one from a post above that has the CSA approval as an example. My 1977 1-18 has it too and so do my two 1978 microwave ovens. I'm wondering if Cory's RCM-9 microwave oven has the CSA approval and refrigerators from other members too. Dryers and Ranges, unless they were originally sold in Canada won't have it. Frigidaire didn't import appliances here for a few years during the 1970s.
