Well, friends, it's been a hard few months, but I'm finally getting what I've always wanted: I'M MOVING! YAY! Specifically I'm moving to the city of Reading, PA, which was not my first choice, but the apartment and block are pretty nice. I just hope my cats agree.
Unfortunately my new place doesn't have a great vintage (or any) dishwasher or laundry facilities. However, the refrigerator is a '70s Kelvinator (sticker says "one of the White Consolidated Industries," but whatever) that I'm quite fond of, despite a missing crisper cover. Interestingly enough, the previous tenant left a bottle of Astra liquid laundry detergent under the sink. A sign?
Hopefully I'll be installed in my fabulous new apartment before August. Wish me luck!
