Found these posted on CL this past Monday. They were 15 miles away. Washer is WWA8350PALWH from 7/1975. Not sure if P is correct. From info here I see this model is one down from the TOL for 75.
Dryer is 610ELW from 8/1978. I may have model number for the dryer wrong as it was difficult to make out due to the way it was stamped. Maybe someone here can clarify. This is my first GE dryer from the time of Filter-Flo production. Couldn't find any info here on dryers from the period but with it not having an automatic cycle would guess it has to be MOL.
Seller stated they were used here in a summer home. Forgive the pics. It was getting dark and I took them with my cell. Unfortunately both the lint pan and Mini basket were gone. Would those items have been blue to match the agitator? Anyone know what style of basket/pan it would have used? ie: large pan with straight sided basket, or smaller pan with the basket with shoulder on top? Washer doesn't state what capacity so I assume standard and would have used the shorter basket? The agitator is 17" tall.
As we spoke the seller told me how he was a collector of toys from his childhood. He has an extensive collection of Match Box, Hot Wheels cars and GI Joe figures and vehicles. I mentioned I still have my GI Joe. He said follow me I've got something for you. We stepped into the house. Up on a shelf were boxes of GI Joe figures. He asked was yours a solider or sailor. I said soldier. He took one off the shelf and handed it to me. He said here take this. I love to give people a part of their childhood. He stated that its a reproduction. But nonetheless I thought that very nice of him.
P.S. Please keep your eyes open for the correct lint pan and basket for me. Thanks.
