We had a Hardwick with the Maytag name on it. Never a bit of problems.

Great range

These were every bit the equal of the higher priced ranges, great even heating ovens, this big H style was my favorite early 1960s .Hardwick was a old well established company in Cleveland Tennessee as time passed they got cheaper as did Brown.

These were very good ranges overall as Hans said they baked beautifully and they were well-made.

This was just another stupid thing that Maytag did they bought. Hardwick put their name on the stove and then they bought magic chef, which was a piece of crap and they ended up closing the Hardwick factory and continued with the magic chef junk.

Hardwick was the last of the good old gas ranges made in this country.
