I have a Norelco razor like the one in your picture--I will just have to find it-its been thru several moves-still works as far as I know.It was one of the first Norelcos I bought to replace a Sunbeam Shavemaster.Loved the Sunbeams-too bad they aren't made anymore.they were very nice and did a great job.I have just about all of the older razors I have used except the sunbeams. Now I wished I kept them.I also have a Schick that someone gave me-needs new blades. It does have quite a heft to it.No lightweight plastic in that one.Its a plug in model. For a long time I used only plug in ones-Now I have gone to rechargeables. If the Norelco razor is "pulling" its telling you that the blades are dull-replace them and it should cut like new.Norelco sells head and blade kits for their shavers.I used to get them at K-Mart of all places.-Their jewlry dept.
thats true-lots of hospitals and Dentists are going to GE equipment-there was one hospital and dentist office I went to that had Norelco-Philips X-Ray machines.GE seems to be the prominent one now.
