I knew that Bosco was still around, but actually finding it? Haven't been able to do that.
I remember when kids begged for Bosco worse than they beg for pizza today.

I haven't seen it in decades just an overpriced empty jar with an elephant head at some flea market or sally ann... You gotta remember the song.. I hate Bosco, it is no good for me...
When we were little and got sick mom would crush an aspirin and mix it into a teaspoon of Bosco to make the medicine go down.

When I was growing up my Mom always had Bosco in the house. She made hot chocolate for us kids almost every morning with Bosco. And she used to make us ice cream sundaes with Bosco and sliced bananas. My aunt bought Nestles Qwik, and it was not as good as Bosco. My local Safeway has carried Bosco for years, but I don't know if its as good as the old Bosco in the jar, since I haven't bought it. You've got my curiosity up and I'll have to buy some and give it a try.

We were a Cocoa-Marsh family. My sister still has the glasses with the lion on them.
I do remember Bosco as a kiddie cartoon character on early TV. To avoid starting a firestorm of hatespeak, please do your own research! Peace.

Maybe it was a clown lid.. why I was thinking an elephant who knows. You could also get the big jar with the pump lid

BOSCO now available--GREAT!!!Remember that stuff when I was a kid---one time drank almost the whole bottle of it!!!SO GOOD!!But did get a little sick.Used Bosco in my milk(would be good today as a mix in for VM and Blendtec drinks)And LOTS and LOTS of it on my ice cream!!!One time as kids we were serving ourselves the Bosco on our ice cream when the jar fell off the counter-hit the hard floor and was upright--then---it collasped and the Bosco oozed onto the floor.what a mess-and Mom didn't get anymore until the next grocery trip-so we were more careful after that.All I could see now was Hersheys syrup and store brands.Guess will have to go to Big Lots and stock up! Hope its the same formula that was used long ago.Contained things good and bad for you--but went down SO easy!!!

I was more an Ovaltine guy. I mean, Captain Midnight would send you a decoder ring fer gawdsake! Ate it with a spoon when I didn't want to be bothered with milk. 'Course it changed like everything else did, from a shiny glaze to an opaque glaze and never was the same.
Hershey? There should be a law prohibiting using that word and 'chocolate' in the same sentence. No wonder Europe hasn't taken us seriously since Hershey came to prominence the same way Lucky Strike did, by giving it away to WW2 GIs.

I like Ovaltine,too-used that as a kid and today-yes like you even ate it "raw" or put on ice cream.
