My dad had something similar put on our gutters, only ended up being so-so for keeping them clear. Though out west it might be more vital to keep leaves off the roof for fire safety reasons.
Obviously, I can't vouch for this brand (love the name, was thinking it was something for cleaning out gutters, like special gloves).

I don't know anything about this specific product, but I do have Gutter Helmet on my gutters, and have been very satisfied. Anything that has openings on the top will tend to catch the stems of leaves, etc.

I have had these on my house for years and have never had to clean out the gutters since. These are especially useful if you have a two story house. Gary

Several years ago we bought a gutter robot from the same people who make the Roomba.
You just sit it in the gutter and using the remote control provided it cleans your gutters. And when it does, stand back it really sets the debris flying! We paid $100.00 for it and it has lasted us three years and is still going stong. It not only gets rid of things like leaves, but also sticks, twiglets, etc.

I have had something similiar to Gutter Guard on my eavestroughs for the past 6 or 7 years and have not had a problem. The product works well.
Gutter robot looks interesting but the problem for me is that I hate heights and ladders so there is no way I would be able to put the robot into the gutter. And then you have the mess to clean up afterward.

Last year I was up on the roof cleaning them out which I'm very nervous about doing, not liking heights, especially the 2nd storey. When almost magically a pickup stops out front and two guys get out who were selling gutter guards and installation. However the price was pretty high at around $800 so I told them I'd have to think about it. About an hour later when I still sitting up there they stopped by again and told me they'd do it right now for $600 so I agreed. It took them less than an hour to install, they're screwed in.. Anyways, long story short I'm sure glad I had them installed. They worked really well. We have tons of oak tree's and the gutters had got clogged before. They're not a fine mesh type, more like aluminum strips with pin holes , can't remember the name.

You know your gutters need cleaning when on a cool day they start to smoke, due to the leaves beginning to compost.
Or when tree saplings start growing out of them... seen that on a few houses around here

Fortunately all my buildings are single story.
However there are some roofing surfaces I can't walk on... like the enclosed breezeway between the shop and the garage. It's got corrugated aluminum roofing, but it's supported only by well spaced (like 4 ft) purlins below, and while the peak is reinforced and can be crawled upon, the majority of that roof would dent and probably cave in if one were to try to walk on it (although the raccoons and possums have no problem). Adjacent to that is a carport with a shed roof, and that's covered with corrugated plastic panels. There is more support below for that, and I can walk on 2x8 plywood sheet I lay down across the purlins, which I must do to clean the gutters between the breezeway and the carport as well as the gutter at the low edge of the carport. Neither can be accessed from below. So it helps quite a bit to have some sort of leaf screen up in those areas, as well as along the shop roof gutters where the trees I planted more than 10 years ago are now dropping crap all over the place.
The main house has a cedar wood roof which tends to shed bits, so I have to get on a ladder and clean out the downspout escapes at the start of the rainy season and generally at least once more. There's another shed roof off the house that covers an enclosed patio-kitchen, but it can be walked upon. There is one troublesome custom made gutter arrangement over the side door on the house... the previous owner put in a very small shunt between the roof extension over the small porch and the main downspout. That will easily clog up with cedar bits or even bits of moss, so it's one of those areas that needs extra attention.
Someday I'd like to live in a quonset hut or a geodesic dome with NO GUTTERS. LOL.
