Faced with the option of getting dishwashers out of the garage or turning our backyard into an "outdoor showroom", I had to move things around in the basement. Presto chango - most of the dishwashers have vanished!!

Except...

that 62 pink Frigidaire which will move over my dead body! Not sure exactly where I should move the ol Kelvy range to either...
My plan was to relocate dryers to line this wall.

Welcome to the 'Dishwasher Dungeon'

I had to temporarily relocate them to the 'cold room' in the basement. I am not happy about that - it can get damp down there. I have one dehumidifier down there already and may add a second one for good measure. Sad to say, but once fall sets in, it will dry as a bone down there.
How sad the latest GE SD203 3 is hidden...BUT it won't be for long (I hope!)

At least they're portables...

The Maytag and the Kenmore can be rolled out of the way quickly when I have the urge to see the turquoise GE's...

On the topic of turquoise.

Here's how the latest GE looked after a good clean up and before getting exiled to the basement. It was in really good shape under some accumulated kitchen grime!

Outside after a good cleaning

It was dustier than a desert on the outside cabinet. Some gentle cleaning (learned my lesson about cleaning too much with the Viking) it looks almost new again!

Insides cleaned up

Just a peek at how the inside looked after a full wash cycle. That was pretty much all it took to clean it up.
Neat that GE used a blue plastisol or whatever it was they called it on this machine. Complements the turquoise door panel nicely!

Paul, I'm pleased with what ya did, ya made do and that has to be done sometimes. But they all look wonderful, even the pink Frigidaire lol. Just be careful when you're carrying dishes up & down the stairs to use those machines lol. And did you inform hubby you now know how to be gentle? he he he.
